No More Work

... carries the bittersweet spirit of this unique project: it is a song about exhaustion, letting go, and at the same time about freedom and redemption. Knowing the circumstances today, the depth in MERCY’s voice feels almost prophetic.

Caught by Rock 'n' Roll

Everything begins with songs that captivate us and never let go. Here, the chronic diagnosis is simple: “Caught by Rock ’n’ Roll”. The BBBs tell the story of how they fell head over heels in love with rock ’n’ roll at a wild dance party. From then on, it’s all about partying until the doctor comes - though he’s definitely the wrong address for that:

• „I’m sorry son, the doctor said, no pill will ever cure your bad,
• Last night you lost your soul to Rock ’n’ Roll”

Shadows of Pain

... gazes at the world through binoculars and sees: veiled landscapes, quarreling people, suffering, and loneliness. And yet, amid all this apparent division and isolation, there are still spaces for connection and togetherness. Dreamlike melodies hint at a world beyond the shadows:

• „What we need is a potion, a solidarity pact [...]
• to make people happy, bring the sun back again,
• pushing away these dark shadows of pain”

Time for Me

Sugar Mama

A Chicago blues track with a driving rhythm, blues harp and slide guitar — exactly the kind of high-energy sound the BBBs have been bringing to the stage for decades.

• „Honey gal, honey gal, let me be you’re lovin’ bee”
